Hi, I'm Rebecca!
And this is
The Melody Garden,
where music, nature, and children come together!
I am an outdoor children's musician with a love for all things nature and stringed instruments. I write songs for families that teach children how to love each other and our planet. My debut album, Melody Garden, is celebrated all over the world by kids and parents alike!

I have been a songwriter and nature lover my entire life, so naturally, I love to combine the two! I grew up rompin' and stompin' in the bluegrass state of Kentucky where I began playing the piano at age 7 and guitar at 12. My first band was at age 12 and my first album was at age 16. Music was always a huge part of my life and through the years I have learned to play the ukulele, banjo, and mountain dulcimer! I have my geology degree and worked as a geologist for 7 years before I began an outdoor music program in 2016 called The Melody Garden. I started teaching private ukulele lessons in 2016 and quickly realized I love to teach music! Along with ukulele, I began teaching guitar, piano, clawhammer banjo, and voice. Following my passion, I now have up to 30 weekly private students, group classes, special events, live concerts and more each month! It has been such an adventure following my heart and making my life all about teaching! I am so very thankful for all of the children and families that support my mission to bring quality and inspiring music to the world!
